- The minimum age for any hire is 21
- Any hirer under the age of 25 must have held their licence for a minimum of two years.
- Anyone hiring over the age of 25 must have held their licence for a minimum of one year.
- Any hire under the age of 25 must have a clean licence to hire.
- Anyone hiring over the age of 25 is allowed certain endorsements on their licence. Please call for more information.
- If you have had more than 2 accidents in the last three years you will not be allowed to hire.
- Certain types of employment are not allowed to hire. Please call for more information.
- You must provide the card part of your driving licence and a utility bill or bank statement dated within the last three months as ID. You will also need to bring in your driver code so your licence can be checked online. We also accept a passport as photo ID. We do not accept cash or electron payments.
- Upon return, van damage is assessed by staff with an initial cost estimate based on bodyshop prices.
- Repairs under £1000 are charged at cost; for damages over £1000, a maximum of £1000 excess is charged.
- Payment for damage is required immediately; the deposit is considered in the final balance.
- Official bodyshop estimates will lead to a refund or additional charge, depending on initial assessment accuracy.
- If immediate payment isn’t possible, written confirmation is provided, and payment can be made post-repair.
- Installment payments are an option if full payment is challenging.
- For undriveable vans, you may incur loss-of-hire costs, capped at one week’s charges.
- Use of your own paintshop is allowed, but daily hire fees apply while the van is offsite.
- Post-repair, if work is substandard, charges will apply to correct the van.

- All hires carry a £100 or £250 refundable deposit dependant on the age of the vehicle.
- We have the right to refuse hires.
- All vehicles must be returned by 8.45am. Late returns may incur a day hire charge.
- A cancellation fee of £25 will be charged if a cancellation is made if you cancel 24 hours before your booking a full days hire will be charged.
- The hire excess is £1000 which will be taken in the event of an accident, or in the event any damage repair cost is in excess of the excess.

Customers are responsible for any fuel used whilst the vehicle is on hire. Vehicles must be returned with the same amount of fuel that they left with.
